"My father"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Vascular surgery

He's been in hospital for weeks showed a slight improvement very underweight, Gangrene in foot. Now my mum says he's acting weird. Maybe operation tomorrow. I cannot believe his hands are so bad, skin flaking and looks very dry and not even cream put on his hands. I'm feeling let down, no one is informing his Wife. No doctor seen or nurse reading his notes. No one could help my mum. She's worried and not well herself. When I visited I went to station on Level 5 room 14 to speak to anyone on duty. Was told speak to Sister. No one could give me or us any answers.. We don't know what's happening with my father's treatment!!!!

We're sorry your experience at the hospital wasn't to the usual high standard we strive for on a daily basis.

We pride ourselves on our safe and compassionate care and for you to not feel you received this is unacceptable and we can only apologise for this.

If you would like for us to investigate this, then please contact the PALS Team by email: pals@bartshealth.nhs.uk

Kind Regards,

Barts Health NHS Trust
