"The most unfriendly hospital"

About: Spire Liverpool Hospital

Arrived early. Staff on main reception very brusque and unfriendly. Then headed to MRI reception. This wasn't any better. No where to get a hot drink. No helpful information anywhere. They came to get my wife but I was told to stay in reception. Other patients had clearly come out with their partners or support. Made to feel like a spare part and not part of the process. Shocking. Would not recommend this for any other private patients. Avoid.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our service when you attended with your wife recently. Patients often bring family members for support and we aim to treat everybody well. If space is limited then we may not be able to accommodate relatives for the whole time, and relatives are not permitted in any scanning areas, but we keep patients and relatives together when we can.

Unfortunately we don’t have a hot drinks facility in the imaging reception area due to its size, however, they are available to private patients and relatives in the private patient waiting area. Our coffee shop is also open from 8am-8pm most days. We are grateful for all patient feedback so we can improve our services so if you would like to discuss your experience further please contact me on 0151 733 7123.

Kindest regards,

Karen Peters
