"Throat cancer diagnosis and post treatment care"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Oncology unit

(as a carer),

My husband was diagnosed with throat cancer in October 2015.

He was given high priority and was slotted in every week until diagnosis even through the consultants list was full. He was given good information and dental checks to prepare for treatment and excellent support following treatment.

I thought that the nurse specialist, Sandra, was excellent and liked the way that she involved me in the appointments.

Dear PWJ

Thank you for taking the time to provide this really positive feedback. As Nurse Consultant for Cancer and Palliative Care I am always interested in feedback, positive or negative, so we may inform service development based on patient/carer experience.

With very best wishes
