"I was made to feel like I mattered"

I was on this ward yesterday as a day stay patient needing to have a hysteroscopy performed. All the staff, from the ward nurses, to theatre and recovery nurses, the anaesthetist and my allocated doctor May were very good and caring. I was made to feel that how I felt mattered and that I was important and that that wanted to look after me as best as they possibly could. If you are soon to be paying a visit to this ward feel safe in my words. I hope they might make you feel a bit more at ease with your time spent in hospital.
