"Exceptional hospital"

I cannot praise this hospital enough, the staff are exceptional! My daughter had her tonsils taken out on Tuesday. From the moment that we arrived to the time she was charged, the care and compassion she received was of the highest of standards. When we arrived she was very nervous about her op, the staff were quick to spot this and instantly reassured her and us. The anaesthetist and surgeon both cane to visit her and treated her with the up most respect and compassion as they carefully explained everything. The nurses (including a student nurse) were fabulous with our little girl. We felt like she was in good hands throughout the day. There were several important touches we felt that really made things run smoothly, all of the above mentioned plus: the use of the escourts to take us down to theatre, ours was lovely, the theatre nurse did an amazing job of keeping our daughter calm and the use of a pager do we were able to go and get a drink and a change if scene as we waited for her to come out of theatre. We feel so privilaged to have this hospital on our doorstep. Thank you again.
