"Broken scaphoid mri needed"

Broke my scaphoid, went to A&E had a cast put on. 1 week later saw a consultant who told me I need an urgent mri plus surgery and that i would have the scan within 2 weeks. Heard nothing for 2 weeks, called the hospital, they told me 6 weeks because they didn't put it down as urgent. They realised their mistake and gave me a date which is still 6 weeks from when I had the consultation. Keep ringing trying to speak to someone and have now been told to stop calling. I am unable to work as I do manual work and the hospital doesn't seem to care.
