"The nurses were real angels"

About: Churchill Hospital / Clinical oncology

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and I was petrified. The surgeon at the Churchill in Oxford was absolutely brilliant. I was operated on within 3 weeks and they got every bit out. They took out 33 Lymph Nodes which were all Cancer Free so no need for any Chemo. Spent 5 days in hospital, the ward was amazing clean, immaculate. The Nurses were amazing real Angels doing very long hours I am so grateful, they truly saved my life. I get really annoyed when I hear people run down the NHS my treatment and time scales were just incredible.
