A lot of the staff are brilliant and happy to help but I found some of the staff didn't really believe me when I said I was in really bad pain and only offered me paracetamol and iburafen. I was told that the pain I was in was completely normal as it was after pains which you get from your second child. I was unable to move and was lying on a bed in the birth centre from 2pm until about 12am before anyone decided that something wasn't right with me. The doctor finally arrived to check me and pulled out a large amount of blood clots and realised some of my placenta was also stuck in there. I then got moved to postnatal where the staff are lovely and happy to help but are extremely busy. To be honest has put me off having any more babies.
"I should have had my pain investigated sooner"
