"I have always felt decisions were mine ultimately"

About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a service user),

I have been coming to SMART, STARS (OASIS) for the last couple of months (again) which is OK, you have to keep trying. The service is great on service and punctuality, it used to take 6 months just to get your first appointment (no script, first initial appointment)!

Definitely clean, safe and friendly, I have never, ever had a problem with staff and always been treated with respect. Had lots of info given to me when I requested it. I have always felt decisions were mine ultimately. This service has been a great help to me and I hope it will continue to be as not quite kicked it but hope to in the future and I know I will need all the help I can get.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback.

It is good to hear that you didn't need to wait 6 months to get to see us. I would personally consider that wait time completely unacceptable and we work very hard to stay within our waiting time targets.

It is always great when our service users feedback they find us safe and staff friendly, that is a key priority for us. As service manager it assures me to hear that you have been involved and have had responsibility for your own decisions about your care.

Keep accessing the service and all that you feel is helping with your recovery journey. Remember behavior changes don't just happen, it takes hard work towards your goals and we all have slip ups! The point is to reflect and learn and then keep moving forward.

All the best with your continued recovery.

Tracy
