"Thanks to the nurses on Ward F4 at the Royal Bolton"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

In November '07, I was admitted to Ward F4 at the Royal Bolton Hospital for a knee replacement. While there, all the nursing staff were superb, as nothing was too much trouble for them. I did have some problems though - the anaesthetist put the nerve block in the wrong leg prior to the operation. I did tell him that it was in the wrong leg, but no apology was given for this. Overall, the treatment was good and I would particularly like to praise the nurses on Ward F4 for their care.

We're sorry that you did not receive an apology but very pleased that overall your treatment was good. We will pass on your remarks to the staff conerned.
