I was a patient in ward C53 of the Coronary Care Unit at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. The nurses were all great, and many thanks to the coronary care unit team. However, the ward itself was dreadful - mixing with patients, who should really be in a Geriatric ward, is not very good for a person who is trying to get better in health. The smell, grunting and groaning, shouting - these things haunt me.
