Thank you to all the staff at the birthing centre for looking after me when I had my little girl. My baby was delivered by a fantastic student (under supervision from the midwife). The facilities were excellent and even when they were really busy the staff never let it show to us.
My only issues are not with the staff. Firstly, the lack of bottle making/sterilising facilities on the ward was not communicated to us in advance.
I did have the starter sma kit, but we ended up staying in longer and with it being late on a Sunday when we found out we were unable to get more until the next day.
Thankfully the midwife gave us a bottle which helped get us until the next day. But we could have done without my husband having to dash off out to try and find some (as you can't get it in all supermarkets). Also, I found out later that I should have had a visit from the physio before I was discharged. I was in the hospital for 30 hours after the birth, but this was not mentioned to me.
"Excellent service"
