"kept waiting for an induction 15 hours +!!!!!!"

About: Princess Anne Hospital / Maternity care

Was bought in for an induction at 9am, was 1pm before they even saw my wife and did anything after this kept being put on monitor and advised they are so busy can't do anything, made to feel so little as though we had no importance midwife didn't seem to know what to do apart from coming round to put on the monitor repeatedly it's been 17 hours and we are still waiting in the induction room for a room and for them to examine for the second time! Truest disgusting service, incompetent and unprofessional shall never be back to this labour ward again!

Dear anonymous

I am sorry to read of your disappointing experience. Your experience certainly is important to us and I am sorry that this was not the impression you were left with at what should be an exciting time.

If you would like us to look into the detail of your experience and what may have caused the delay then please contact patientsupportservices@uhs.nhs.uk. it sounds from your comment that there may have been a high demand on the rooms at the time of your induction.

I trust the rest of your onward care was more satisfactory.
