I attended ward 203 bright and early on 21/6/17 to have work done to my damaged spine.I was taken to theatre around 9am and then awoke at around 1230pm in the recovery unit as if i had just had a long nap.The guys who put me under anaesthetic were very good at there job a few good lungfuls of the air from the mask and the magic mixture in my arm i was away. When taken back to ward 203 all was well i was on my feet within a couple of hours. With a little assistance using the toilet within 3 hours. All the staff were bouncy and happy within there duties on the ward. The meals were all good and the electronic adjustable beds were very helpful in assisting me in becoming mobile. The next morning was pleasant too a nice shower some breakfast then wait to see the surgeon for a chat.Around 1030 am 22/6 i was discharged and able to go home to start my recovery. I would like to thank my Consultant and all of their team for making my experience on ward 203 a very pleasant one! Cheers guys
