About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

I brought my daughter to NSEC on Friday morning as she was urgently sent from the GP with a purple rash, and feeling generally unwell.

The service was fantastic, she was taken into a side room within 10 minutes and seen by a consultant.

She was then transferred to Ambulatory Care where another consultant spoke to her and looked at her.

We were told of the blood results within an hour of the blood being taken.

The staff were friendly and very caring.

From getting there at 9.30 she was then discharged at 12.40, with all the tests taken and results given.

I can not recommend this hospital enough and thank them for their swift reponse.

I think NSEC and the NHS are amazing and we are very lucky to have them.
