"Clean, safe and friendly place"

About: One Recovery Bucks

(as a service user),

Have been coming to STARS for 3 years. The care is good, very good. It's a clean, safe and friendly place.

Without their help, I would still be on heroin. It really helped me to get off the heroin. I have been 3 months clean.  I am treated with respect and dignity. Amanda is very good. She always helps me and has helped me to get in touch with Bucks floating support and people helping me to move home because I want to be near my sister since my mum and dad died. Because when I am off the methadone, I want to stay clean.

Thank you for taking time to give us your valuable feedback.

It's fantastic to hear to you are 3 months clean (what a great achievement!). It's encouraging to also hear that you have found STARs a safe and friendly place. I will ensure Amanda gets your feedback.

Keep working with the floating support at Connections Support, they too have excellent helpful staff.

Keep accessing the support you need within STARs and also our recovery network, this should help your continue to achieve your recovery goals moving forward.

Have you also attended mutual aid groups run from our buildings? Check out the timetable for the fellowships meeting NA and AA or SMART Recovery.

All the very best with your ongoing recovery.

Tracy
