"Patient care"

About: University Hospital Monklands

(as a relative),

My 87yr old dad has just been discharged from ward6 monklands district general hospital after 4 weeks of excellent care from every member of stall including the domestic staff, porters, clinical support workers, trained nurses and the medical staff also the staff in the ct scanner. He was always treated with respect and loved the friendly manner that they all had it made his stay so much easier. Everyone is a credit to the NHS and they should be very proud of themselves for doing a fantastic job sometimes in very difficult circumstances.

Dear Happy123

Thank you for taking the time to highlight the excellent care your father received during his four week stay in Ward 6. It is lovely to hear such positive comments on the care that staff provide. I will make sure that your comments are fed back to the staff who I am sure will be delighted to receive the feedback.

I hope that your dad is doing well now that he is back home.

Kind Regards

Lynn McTavish

Dear Happy123

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of the care delivered in Ward 6. Your experience highlights the importance and impact of good team work. I know the team will be delighted and encouraged with your kind comments.

I'm sure for both your Father and Family having a loved one in hospital for such a long time was very worrying and I hope your Father is recovering well at home.

Kind regards

Ruth
