My overall experience with the service is unsatisfactory, I have had to complain about staff numerous times, although since quite a few changers were made it has made the hole experience bererably. For example wait time, it used to be your appointment would be on the hour and 45 minutes if not longer you would be seen and the waiting room would be full.
I feel this situation has been rectified and I am no longer as anxious waiting for my appointment. The old reception staff was appalling but I am now more that happy with the perfesional, helpful, certious and respectful qualities the latest individual shows.
As regards to my treatment I am happy with my keyworker at the moment although they seems to change to often without been consulted leaving an up routed feeling. Some of the care staff need better listening skills and others less of an attitude to think it is there job to lecture and judge you. A better understanding of the field of work they are in is needed. For example working with patients who have an opiate addiction, it would be useful to now which drugs are opioid's, and the difference between them (co-codamol has codeine in it and oxycodone is different and there is no such thing as oxycodiene).
An idea for improvement would be a text remind service for appointment most nhs services already have this as I am very bad at keeping track of dates.
Thankyou for taking the time to read my review, I hope it helps you to improve your service.
Kind regards HMB
