"I know I am safe when I go for a shower"

About: Dirrans Centre (including rehab)

(as a service user),

I pass out all the time and can't be left alone Shirley from the center came out and helped with a shower seat and bed guard and raiser's for the bed I used the shower seat last night and my seven year old has to sit in the bathroom in case I pass out but for the first time she got her childhood back came in and looked and went I can go and watch cartoons I am so great full for everything I have a smile on my face and I know I am safe in the bathroom when I go for a shower my daughter can watch cartoons I can't thank you enough and Shirley is amazing she is so on behalf of my family we thank you so so much xxx

Shirley our Rehabilitation Support Officer is delighted that the equipment she provided has helped you so much. It is a great feeling to get back some independence and you must be pleased that your young daughter can relax and not worry about these responsibilities.
