Having gone through a stressful and emotional period with my partner waiting for her hysterectomy. When the day of her operation to get ready for theatre and then to be told her operation would run beyond 17.00 And this was past the anaesthetist's working hours so her operation would have to be canceled is bad but to be told she may have to wait another 6 weeks makes me ask who gives the right for these professionals the right to seemingly class themselves Gods?
The surgeon was not at fault and tried to get help from other 'staff but beyond 17 00 was a no no!
Talking to ward staff this was not the first occasion and the surgeon had applied to the medical board for action but got shot down. Surely operation staff are supposed to be the cream of our cream?
