"Please pass onto the staff how wonderful they were"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

I fell off a horse on sat. Landed mostly on my head. The paramedics, Davy and Paula were great! ...looked after me and kept me calm. The staff at GRI A & E were all fabulous...my nurse Stephanie was so lovely and kind. The consultant, sorry, I can't remember his name. (would have been about 3. 30pm). but he was fab too...I had total confidence in him. The staff for the ct scans and xrays were also good.

All in all, I was very well looked after: )...this is definitely an NHS, that is worth fighting for! ! ...

Please pass onto the staff how wonderful they were and how it really means everything, to all the patients that pass through their door...very much appreciated.

Hi Poppy333

Thank you so much for sharing your experience on Care Opinion. I was sorry to hear about your accident but really pleased to hear about the care you received from everyone involved. Your story highlights very well, the large number of people who are involved in providing health care in our NHS.

I have managed to identify the Davy and Paula and so will ensure that your kind words are passed onto them.

Best wishes with the rest of your recovery.

Take care

Martin.
