"A credit to the ambulance service"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

I had a heart attack on a train late afternoon, got off at Perth and summoned help. An ambulance came very quickly indeed. On board were Lizzie and a male whose name I did not catch. They treated me first in the ambulance, then took me to PRI and shortly after that to Ninewells. Their care was absolutely excellent throughout the experience. A credit to the ambulance service. Thank you.

Dear Wormit man

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on Care Opinion.

I was sorry to hear about your heart attack. It must have been extremely frightening becoming unwell on a train with no immediate help available. I am so glad that we were able to help you and I am very pleased to hear about the care you received from Lizzie and her crewmate.

I will try to identify the ambulance crew from the information you have provided so that I can pass on your compliments to them, If I cannot find them, I may come back to you for some more information.

I wish you well with your ongoing recovery.

Take care

Martin.
