I was admitted into the hospital via a 999 ambulance whilst on holiday in Weymouth. I received immediate and caring treatment on arrival. I have terminal cancer and due to the nature of my symptoms my family were contacted and advised to travel from Berkshire asap. I was then admitted to Illchester Ward into a side room, where my family where allowed to stay with me as I wasn't expected to live. Due to the amazing care and treatment I was stabilised enough to be transferred to my own Oncology hospital in Oxford. Myself and my family are amazed and so grateful for the treatment and care shown to us all. All staff were dedicated and extremely caring at all times. I can't praise this hospital highly enough.
"Amazing staff and hospital"
