"Oken Ward and A&E"

About: South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust

I was taken to hospital when an unexpected infection took hold.. the out of hours doctor was lovely although I have been told I was being a bit difficult about going to hospital.. The ambulance staff were very helpful and gently persistent..

A& E were very busy but really efficient (except the person who checked my blood pressure who insisted on pulling cuff tight before it inflated - really painful) they were lovely and got me to Oken ward very quickly after assesment..

The staff on

Oken Ward are special.. The Sister in charge was alert to all the patients and the staff very calmly and kindly dealt with some very poorly people.. I was so impressed with every member of staff, from Doctor to tea person, such an important role,

Due to them I recovered quickly and felt really confident that their advice and treatment was superb.

Thank you all for the amazing service you provide
