"Excellent Service for obstetrics at Northampton"

Good evening

My wife is currently 36 weeks pregnant, and suffered a fall on our front steps. With her being so far pregant we were advised to attend our labour ward, and obviously both being concerned and worried we were put into a room straight away and monitored intensely.

At this point I would like to thank in particular Pat Howey (sp), who I found informative throughout, and was a shining example of excellent service and in my opinion, a credit to her profession. We were constantly informed as to what each and every beep and light meant, what the graphs were telling us, and reassuring us that all was well. I have never felt so comfortable despite the anxious and unexpected visit!

I'm not sure if this message will get through to Pat, I certainly hope it does. If not at least others may be able to rest in the knowledge that when visiting the team at Northampton General Hospital Sturtridge ward, you are in safe hands!!
