HI I took my very nervous mum (who is in her 80s) to your unit on Friday.
the whole experience was wonderful, all thanks to the staff.
special thanks to the lovely lady ( light purple uniform ) who took mums history and details. she was lovely and completely put my mum at ease. Though mum is a bit doddery and also hard of hearing, this lady took her time to explain things. Her bedside manner is lovely.
the nursing team who did the procedure were also lovely. Mum was full of praise for them.
Lastly a nice gentleman nurse who dealt with her aftercare. He made us both a cuppa then took time to fully explain things to mum. His whole manner was professional yet caring and compassionate.
I'm a nurse Manager at SRFT and I am proud of both our NHS and the care my mum got that day.
