My father is in Ward 21 at Heartlands after being admitted a few days ago from his care home. I live in Australia and have phoned Ward 21 to enquire about him. On every occasion the nurses have been so helpful even though I know the time difference means I phone at inconvenient times! I just want to thank the nurses for their friendly and professional assistance and for making sure they made me feel that my father was very important and for giving him my love! Thank you ladies. I really appreciate it as I know you must be very busy.

Thank you for your lovely comments regarding the nursing staff on Ward 21 at Heartlands Hospital.

I am so pleased to read that the nurses were able to provide you with updates when you called the ward in relation to your father, as I appreciate that not being able to visit him, would have been a very worrying and anxious time for you.

It will be my pleasure to forward your posting to the senior nursing team.

I will ask that your posting is shared with the ward staff, as I sure they will be delighted to read your positive comments.

Thank you Miss Langham. I now have my father in Ward 24 at Heartlands and again I am absolutely delighted with the care he is receiving. Everyone in that unit is always so welcoming when I arrive and go out of their way to assist me. From the kitchen staff to the Doctors it is very professional. The NHS has wonderful staff.
