"Poor attitude from receptionists in A&E"

About: Newham General Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

Basically I think the receptionists I dealt with were rude, nasty, cold and unhelpful and refused to give me their names (my right) when I asked for as minutes earlier I had collected a complaint leaflet so when I asked a receptionist for some names they said I should just do as I want to but they won't be giving any names. I had just spent many hours there in excruciating pain and it was around 2am, raining heavy and I was exhausted so I didn't go on about it. Also the staff in the A&E area called my name but then fled before I could get up and then said I wasn't where I should be (didn't know where that was as I don't go to A&E regularly) so why should they go chasing after me. They said this after I complained to one of the Nursing Staff. And so loud and rudely. The Nursing Staff told me to sit on a chair alone and in great pain. Never said anything else despite walking up and down many times and seeing me crying out and me being epileptic to name my main condition. I feel absolutely disgusted and angry. The only decent person was the Doctor. I spoke to the Nurse in Charge to complain and they too were decent but this whole experience that I suffered by all these rude staff is not accepted and I am going to lodge a complaint which I was told I could fill in a form from the receptionists but the receptionists said I had to do it online not knowing if I could or had access to it. Again was terse and flippant. Nasty hospital staff and that is why I don't like hospitals.
