Surgery on 22 May 2017
Arrived at hospital at 7.30 -taken to a pleasant small ward where a nurse explained what was going to happen- saw the anaesthetist shortly after
Next taken to theatre and met the surgeon who explained in detail the surgery involved
Operation took about an hour then back to the ward for a sandwich and drink
Able to leave the hospital about an hour later
Everybody involved in my care was polite, reassuring and professional
"Macular hole surgery"
