About: Heartlands Hospital / Accident and emergency Solihull Hospital / Cardiology West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I was taken in on friday 19th last week after collapsing at home. waited only 10 minutes for ambulance to come. taken to heartlands where I was seen straightaway. checked over and sent to solihull to have a pacemaker fitted. I was in ward 17. I had pacemaker fitted by the afternoon, very quick. went back to ward 17 where I was for a few days. all staff were brilliant, I could not have had better care. I thank paramedics, doctors, nurses all staff.
