"Neurology outpatients appointment"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Neurology

I went with my daughter-in-law who had trigeminal neuralgia and had brain surgery in Nottingham and has got a shunt in her brain to the neurology clinic yesterday as she is still in a lot of pain and wanted help with her care..

The staff were fantastic, I was with her and she saw the registrar and then the consultant who explained everything to my daughter-in-law about the shunt that she did not know and because she lives in Nottingham she had some investigations whilst in clinic. My daughter-in-law was so impressed by the care she was given she is happy to drive up to the Hallamshire from Nottingham to continue treatment in the Shunt Clinic. Excellent patient care. My daughter-in-law said she can now see light at the end of the tunnel in getting pain relief
