About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

Mum and I would like to thank everyone who has looked after mum since she was admitted to A & E the other Sunday. We were treated with great respect and kindness from the moment we entered the hospital, also with great effiency. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were happy to help despite being incredibly busy. Mum went to CDU, then AMU and finally to Karensa ward where the staff again were so kind, thoughtful and very caring but all carried out with a sense of humour. I can't thank them all enough. The night staff, day team, caters sister, nurses, ward admin to name but a few. Thank you

Dear Katee

I was sorry to hear that your Mum had to attend our Emergency Department (ED) earlier this month. I would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I have passed your lovely comments to Ian Gillespie, Matron for ED and to Anne-Marie Kevern, Deputy Sister for Karensa Ward. They will be delighted to receive such positive feedback about all members of their team and will ensure that this is shared amongst the staff.

I hope that the kindness and humour of our staff kept your Mum in good spirits throughout her stay and that she is recovering well?
