"Stay in AandE and SAU"

About: The Great Western Hospital / Accident and emergency

My stay there has been bad. After getting there with blood sugar of 30:1 at 5pm last night I was put in Aand E. I was sent for X-rays then move to SAU at 8:30 pm. It's now 7am and I am still on a trolley in SAU. Was told was going to a ward but then told doctor said stay where I am. I been here now over 14 hours and still on the same trolley I was put on first off. You try sleeping on one of them over night yes I did not sleep. I have just been given my first drink at 7 am and had no food at all from 4:30pm last night in here. All I can say hope never sick again as will never come back here again if I can. As some one that is on a PPG and also on the group over swing the Heath of the people in swindon I am not happy with the care a GW. Some of the staff are nice but some are just there for the money and that's it. Hope never go back there that's if I go home today and ever get of the trolley I am on. 14 hours on a trolley and lots more to go yet good old NHS.
