I was referred to SAU by my doctor after attending him for a pain in my stomach. I was seen very quickly and was kept in over night waiting on a CT scan in the morning I cant fault the staff then, ..I was treated was great respect and was given pain relive when needed ...Well this all changed after my CT ..They found no surgical reason to operate and from then on my experience went down hill. I was still in pain and asked 7 times for pain relief, only to be ignored. Curtains pulled around me and was left to suffer. I couldn't believe how I was treated. A doctor even came behind the curtain and asked what was wrong and went to find out why I wasnt getting anything and it was a half hour I after that I was given something.
I feel they were no interest in me I was just a burden to them. I felt I was stuck behind a curtain to be ignored. I was shocked how I was treated.
