"Thank you"

About: Derriford Hospital

I was admitted to the Icu in April with pneumonia. I wasnt conscious when i arrived and was put into an induced coma. I am lucky to still be here to write this and that is down to the skill of the skill of the team that treated me and cared for me over the 3 weeks i was there. Thank you so much. I owe you my life.

The Matron for Critical Care has responded to say:

We are delighted to receive such positive feedback regarding the care this patient received whilst on Intensive Care at Derriford Hospital.

We have shared with our nursing and medical teams so they might see just what a difference the efforts they make have to patients in our care.
