"Maternity and after birth support"

My experience of the materbity services at New Cross was exceptional. I had a high risk pregnancy and was consultant led from the beginning. I found the consultants knowledgable and understanding and felt my opinion was listened to in all decisions. I had regular monitoring in the fetal assessment unit where the midwifes really went above and beyond to make me feel calm and relaxed during stressful times amd to ensure the wellbeing of me as well as my baby. I delivered on the consultant led unit which was clean and well kept, all staff were friendly and I found the midwifes delivering my baby to be excellent. They kwpt me calm at all times and explained everything along the way. I had a great birth experience.

The post natal ward was a lovely relaxed ward again clean with excellent staff. I had planned to breastfeed and received the right level of support both on the ward and once discharged to enable me to do this successfully.

I eould not hesitate in recommending New Cross to friends and family or using again in the futire.
