I was recently unfortunate enough to experience a TIA, or Transient Ischaemic Attack and was sent to New Cross Accident and Emergency department. Over period of a couple of days I underwent a series of tests which resulted in a diagnosis that my right carotid artery was seriously blocked. The care I received by all the staff that I encountered was excellent. I was subsequently treated surgically by a surgeon and team to whom I owe my heartfelt thanks.
".....excellent care."
