I was unfortunate enough to experience a Transient Ischemic Attack recently and was subsequently diagnosed with a partially blocked carotid artery. From my initial examinations at New Cross hospital Wolverhampton, where my experiences and treatment were first class, I was referred to Russells Hall vascular department to undergo a carotid endarectomy. I am pleased to say that all went well and I am making a speedy recovery. This is solely down to the excellent care that I received from the moment of my admission to the point of discharge. From the kindliness and superlative skill and professionalism of the surgeon and team, all the way through to the brilliant nursing staff on Ward B3 (Station 4) and including the auxiliaries and support workers, I could not have asked for better care. To all of you - my sincere and heartfelt thanks.
".....excellent care."
