I would like to take this opportunity to thank the NHS for the excellent treatment and care that I received during my stay and subsequent visits to Good Hope Hospital. In early 2016 I was found to have pancreatic cancer following referral for tests from my GP and admission via A&E. In particular I would like to thank Dr Andrew and Dr Tsalic along with all those (both staff and volunteers) on ward 17 and in the Oncology Unit.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the care and treatment you received in the Oncology Unit and Ward 17 at Good Hope Hospital.

I am so pleased to read that the care and treatment you received was excellent, especially under the circumstances for which you being treated. I appreciate that it would have been a very worrying and anxious time for you.

I will forward your posting to the senior management team for Oncology, Ward 17 and the Volunteer Services.
