"2.5m baby sent home 3 times during 5 weeks with..."

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

5 weeks ago on the first visit to Oldham Paediatric Unit with fast breathing and loud noise in the chest (vibrating, felt even by touching his back) the baby was given an x ray and blood tested for gases only. Doctors concluded it is just viral bronchitis and given just nebuliser (available at chemists over the counter).

Sinse then the mother visited the hospital 3 times during 5 weeks, refered from GPs or sent by ambulance with very high breathing rates and getting blue a times. Each time sent home from Oldham with no actual treatment or even further tests given. The 'professionals' there based their decision mainly on lack of raised temperature.

Mother confused and trusting hospital doctors in Oldham.

Last time sent home 3 days ago, taken by friends to Central Manchester hospital last night to seek second opinion and maybe normal treatment. In Central Manchester given oxygen straight away and seen by a few concerned doctors immediately. Given tests (changes in lungs) and antibiotic tretment as soon as possible which was never even considered in Oldham knowing 5 weeks history of symptoms.

Who is responsible in Oldham hospital for this terrifing practice of not doing even simple tests?

Only one doctor there shown concern but so what if the next shift doctor is sending the same baby home.
