About: Royal Bolton Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I went to the Royal Bolton Hospital and was a patient on F4. I had an operation of my right shoulder, (keyhole surgery). The nurses and the doctors were very good and I was treated with respect and dignity.

I think that the hygiene standards generally could have been better. I would like to thank all the staff on F4 and Mr Wycke (surgeon) at the Royal Bolton Hospital

It is good to hear that you received good care at the hospital and we will pass your comments on to the staff. It is a pity that you did not find the standards of hygiene as you would have liked. We are constantly reviewing cleanliness to see what improvements can be made and again will pass your comments on to the staff concerned.
