3 months ago I was diagnosed with NHL resulting in a brain tumor, following surgery where Queens excised much of the tumor from my brain, followed up by 3 sessions of chemotherapy ( 4th and last starting tomorrow)
I only have the most complements for the treatment and service I have received from the NHS in Nottingham. The staff have been excellent - my bed time in Queens and City has been second to none! The service and support has been second to none, even the food has been great!
Staff are caring and supportive, ward accommodation is excellent from cleaners, caterers to assistants, nurses, doctors and registrars. I cancelled my private medical cover 12 months ago when I retired, then when my illness started I first thought that was it! I would struggle for treatment - I could not have been more wrong! Nothing I could say would be of detriment to the staff or the organisation - I have received 1st class service from day 1. Fingers crossed that the treatment will be successful.
"I have received 1st class service from day 1"
