"How OT helped me"

About: Highbury Hospital

(as a service user),

I was flagging when I was found by OT and boy did they make a difference. I was immediately taken to the allotment to help out and this was a great way to get used to going outside after a number of weeks confined to the ward.

I was then introduced to a raft of activities that helped me with my coping skills and recovery plan.

I honestly think I would have relapsed without the help of OT

Thank you so much for feeding back about how the OT helped you with your recovery. It's great to hear that you were prevented from relapsing.

Thank you for your kind comments and feedback. I know the team will very much appreciate them. We do aim to offer a varied and positive group and individual experience whilst someone is an inpatient. We are very focused on supporting recovery and I am so pleased you were able to experience a range of activities that have proved beneficial. We wish you all the best for your ongoing recovery.
