"Day Surgery Experience"

This was my second experience of surgery in the day case unit and having just read somewhat negative remarks I felt compelled to add my own comments. I was treated one week ago and found every aspect of my care to be exemplary. Yes there is the inevitable waiting but this pales into insignificance when looking at wider aspects such as professionalism, attention to detail and the patience displayed by staff. I find it inconceivable that it is possible for reviewers to downgrade the hospital based on issues such as parking however inconvenient that might be. From the consultant to the lovely member of staff who so carefully pushed my bed along the corridors, I would like to express me heartfelt thanks. The hospital is clean, organised and a tribute to the NHS.
