(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have always been welcomed here regardless of my relapses and staff members are non-judgemental. Staff members provide a structure and a routine and they are always there with solutions to my problems.

A year ago I snapped at someone because they had said something to me but reflecting back it could have been that around that time I had quit smoking and I believe those were the effects of it.

I believe in this country we are lucky to have this service.

I feel very valued to have been asked to do a presentation in front of the managers, that was one of my best moments and it really helped boost my confidence.

I would like to thank every staff member, they have all been amazing but especially Mary, Mark and Mike.

Thank you for taking the time out to give us your valuable feedback. It is great for me to hear that you have found our services useful and non judgmental regardless where you have been in your recovery journey.

It is useful to hear that the structure of the service helps your recovery and also the staff working in it. I am really proud of our team and will ensure the team especially Mark, Mary and Mike get your feedback.

Hearing how your confidence has been boosted by taking part in a presentation is fantastic. At STARs we really value service users input and feedback it really helps shape our services. Have you heard about our volunteer pathway? This is also a great way to continue to boost confidence for those achieving their recovery goals.

Keep working on your recovery in service but also building your own recovery resilience attending the fellowships.
