"I broke my ankle"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

My care was brilliant on the Rainforest ward in Lincoln hospital. The nurses was so kind.

The nurses was brilliant especially when I didn't like the feel of my antibiotics going in my hand they distracted me and made me laugh with some good jokes.

They came and checked on me when my parents went home. The nurses also made me feel at ease. The doctors was brilliant and spoke to me and explained everything to me as well as my parents. They have made me feel a lot better while I was in their care. They let me rest but still came and did my medicine when I came out of my operation on my ankle.

Hi brokenbonesgirl

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us about your recent stay on Rainforest.

We are so happy to hear that your experience was positive and that you received good care.

I'm pleased we were able to help you feel better about having your antibiotics and that you felt to had time to rest and get better.

We hope your ankle is on the mend and we look forward to sharing your feedback with the rest of the Rainforest team.

Very best wishes

Sharon Birkin, Deputy Sister and Laura Richmond, Healthcare Support Worker
