Just want to say how pleased I am with the services we got from Croydon's labour suite. I had to be induced and after a very long wait I was taken to the delivery room on the labour ward and the process began. All the midwives I met were really nice but I wasn't pushing properly and my son started to get stressed and dropping his heartbeat.
Another midwife came into the room and me and my boyfriend were really surprised by how neat and tidy he was - his name was jason (some staff were not as smart - I work in a clothes shop and wouldnt be allowed to look like some of the staff we saw). Jason assessed what was happening and really got me pushing as hard as I possibly could and eventually my son was born normally without forceps, which would have been the next thing on the agenda.
I just want to say thank you to everyone but especially Jason as without his no nonsense approach I would have been in a much more worse situation, so thank you all very much xx
