Came in to get induced due to obstetric cholestasis, even though the care in antenatal was great, they seem to be far too overworked/short staffed, so everything took a long time. When I finally got down to the labour ward the care was always at least 1 to 1 and was brilliant. Had a very difficult labour but was looked after throughout. Had problems with pain relief but again the anaesthetist and their team were always fast and helpful. I was constantly checked on by various doctors/specialists throughout. In the end I had to get rushed to theatre but everyone involved worked so well together and even though it was shift handover, staff started before their shift with absolutely no hesitation. Also even though everything was so hurried due to the urgency, everyone was very friendly and always ensured we were happy with what was happening
