"trying to get appointments"

I am always reluctant to try and make an appointment at the surgery as it always proves to be difficult. For example when my daughter tried to arrange an appointment for this friday as she is experiencing unusual bleeding following treatment for a kidney infection, she was told the earliest time available was the 16th may! Although a doctor did speak to her over the telephone after she had explained her problems she was told that she needed to leave it for about another two weeks before coming to see the doctor in person!!

Surley this is difficult to judge from just a phone call?

This response only reinforces the lack of confidence we have in this surgery. Everything is always difficult and despite getting cross and airing concerns directly with the surgery in the past nothing has improved and so we tend to not bother pursing the matter, but I have to say this is not helping my daughters wellbeing. Infact she has spent years putting up with difficulties in her health rather than being supported into making things better for her.

I only hope that this latest health issue doesnt develop into anything too sinister.
