"Unnecessary sections and use of acuphase"

Whilst at home, Dr's decided to give me a mental health assessment. A few days earlier I had just come from St Caddocs from a section 2. I had appealed this section and had a solicitor arranged. In a meeting before the trial the Dr releases my section therefore the tribual was cancelled. I wanted to go to the tribunal and say that I have been trying to deal with money that was owed to me.  The police were involved but I was never refunded.

Instead x3 Dr's visit my home and one of them says -Do you want to come back to St Cadocs?. I politely said "No thankyou, I've just come from there. "

The Dr replied to this and said -Your being sectioned under the mental health care act. I had written everything down regarding what had happened to me  and said -look, there's nothing wrong with me, I just want my owed money, I've written everything down on one piece of paper. To this the Dr replys -Writing everything down is a sign of not being well.

I was in the smoking room so refused to speak to psychiatrist and thought I would see her another day. Later on one of the nurses informed me I would be having a depo injection. I asked if I could see the drug leaflet to see what was prescribed. To my horror I saw that it was acuphase. I felt that I wasn't psychotic and I didnt have psychosis and just been unnecessarily sectioned and now I was going to have enforced injection of a powerful mind wiping drug that makes you sleep for x2 days whilst they constantly wake you up and inject you further.

I have suffered from mental health issues in the past but have always self admitted myself and I knew I was unwell. I decided to call my gf and run away from the hospital. I arranged a lift and went home and hid.  We did go away but was eventually found by the police.  I tried explaining to the police about this situation but was just ignored and was asked by the  police officer what was my favourite band.

The nurses didnt inject me that night but they did the next day. I tried to protest that there was nothing wrong with me and I didn't want to have acuphase injected into me. Just help me get my money that was owed to us. The nurses said that they were only doing what the Dr had told them to do. I didnt want to fight the nurses and accepted the injection. X2 days of sleep, I had a meeting with the Psyc Dr that prescribed me with acuphase and another nurse. I was asked how I felt and I said I had a good sleep and apparently in saying this the nurse said that I now had insight.

I feel that my treatment was abusive to me as a person and  once my gp came to the following meeting my section was removed again.

I felt this I was unnecessary sectioned and abuse handed out because of refusing to speak to the Dr and incorrectly prescribed acuphase when I didn't have psychosis and there was not understanding of my situation.  I felt that mental health services use my mental health history against me and enforced acuphase unnecessary and the total unfairness of a mental assessment in not reading what I had written saying this was a sign of not being well. I feel like I was abused by the system. Glad I don't live in Newport anymore
